Biography:
Researcher (retired), Research Center for Astronomy and Applied Mathematics Academy of Athens (since 2002). He was born in Athens on the 29th of April, 1944. He obtained the B.Sc. in Physics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1969), the M.Sc. in Meteorology from the University of Athens, Greece (1976) and the Ph.D. in Solar Physics from the University of Ioannina, Greece (1984). He has worked as a Research Assistant (1974- 1992) and as Senior Researcher (1992-2002) before the present position at the same Center. His main scientific interest is the Solar Physics.
