Biography:
Nicolaos Caranicolas was born in Komotini, Greece, on the 12th of April, 1948. He received his B.Sc. in Physics in 1971 as well as a B.Sc. in Mathematics in 1977, from the University of Thessaloniki. He completed his Ph.D. in 1982 and joined the faculty of the Department of Physics. His research interests were on Dynamical Astronomy. He retired as an Associate Professor in 2015.
