Biography:
Polymilis Chronis (1946-2000) Assistant Professor of the University of Athens, Greece. He was born in Aegaleo, Athens, Greece and received his B.Sc. in Surveying from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (1977) and the Ph.D. from the Department of Physics of the University of Athens, Greece (1985). He was interested mainly in the non-linear Dynamical systems and he had published many papers on these subjects. He was a member of the IAU and a Founding member of the Hellenic Astronomical Society (Hel.A.S.).
