Professor Emeritus, Department of Rural and Surveying Engineering, Polytechnic School, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, on the 30th of May 1941. He received the B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Thessaloniki (1964) and the Dr. Rer. Nat. from the University of Heidelberg, Germany (1975). His scientific interests include the Observational and Geodetical Astronomy, the Geodesy and the Meteorology.
