Poulakos Constantinos, (1936-2009) Senior Researcher, Research Center for Astronomy and Applied Mathematics, Academy of Athens, Greece. He was born in Kozani, Greece and received the B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of Athens, Greece (1960) and the Ph.D. from the same University in 1970. His scientific interests included the Solar and Solar-Terrestrial Phenomena and the study of the atmosphere.
